The Northern California ECS board is happy to announce that the thirteen ministry requests from all of our four deaneries for 2011's Ministry Development grants have been approved. Grant recipients will be contacted this week. Some of this year's grant requests were for ministries which are  stepping up to replace services that the government has cut, in particular
ESL (English as a Second Language); those helping people in Crescent City affected by the recent tsunami; music camps for children; and for the support of food projects just now beginning and for those continuing and growing. The ECS board wants to thank you for the privilege of sharing what you have given through ECS, with these worthwhile ministries.

Grant proposals are being accepted for the Ministry Development Fund which funds development or expansion of Health & Social Service Outreach Ministries in the  Diocese of Northern California. 

Grant range:  $500-$2000.

In addition grant proposals are being accepted for the Bishop Jerry & Jane Lamb Grant funding Youth/Young Adults in doing Outreach projects.        
Grant range:  $500-$1000
